About ETF Pulse

Professional ETF research tools, free for everyone

ETF Pulse is a free investment research platform that gives individual investors the same data and analytical tools that professional portfolio managers pay thousands of dollars a month to access — at no cost.

What ETF Pulse Does

We combine real-time market data, macro-economic indicators, and AI analysis into a single, easy-to-use platform:

  • ETF Universe Screener — screen 5,500+ ETFs by fee, yield, AUM, category, and more with plain-English AI search.
  • Monte Carlo Stress Tests — simulate your portfolio across 8 market scenarios including Fed rate hikes, recessions, and inflation shocks.
  • AI Insights — get plain-English analysis of any ETF, including risk factors, market context, and portfolio fit.
  • Technical Indicators — 52-week high/low, SMA 20/50/200, RSI, volatility, and performance periods computed from daily price history.
  • Fund Fundamentals — NAV, holdings count, sector breakdown, dividend history, and bond characteristics.
  • Portfolio Tracker — track your ETF holdings, monitor performance, and analyze concentration risk.

Why We Built It

Individual investors are at an information disadvantage. The tools that institutional investors use to analyze ETFs — real-time screeners, scenario simulators, AI-driven research — are either locked behind expensive subscriptions or hidden inside brokerage platforms with limited flexibility.

We built ETF Pulse to close that gap. Our belief: better-informed retail investors make better long-term decisions, and that's good for everyone.

Our Data Sources

  • Polygon.io — real-time prices, historical OHLCV data, and ETF reference data. The same feed powering Robinhood and Webull.
  • Federal Reserve FRED — official macro data: interest rates, CPI, GDP, unemployment.
  • Financial Modeling Prep (FMP) — NAV, holdings, sector weights, dividend history, and fund fundamentals.
  • Anthropic Claude — state-of-the-art AI model used to generate ETF summaries, risk assessments, and portfolio recommendations.
